Bonfire Night and Diwali

As part of our celebrations topic, we have been learning about how and why people celebrate Bonfire Night and Diwali.  We have read stories about these celebrations and have had lots of different activities in Nursery to help us learn about them.

The children have made marks in glitter with paintbrushes, drawn fireworks with chalk outside, made fireworks with black dough and sequins and dressed in warm clothes while we pretended to be at a bonfire.
