Final Practise Before VEX Worlds - Run 1

It was lovely to have the team from Watersons come into school to meet the VEX IQ team today.  This was Team 38154B's final practise before they head off to the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas on Monday.

Watersons are keen to develop a partnership together.  They have decided to sponsor STEM in our school and so it was fitting that they came into spend time with our National Champions to talk robots.  They have also committed to taking part in our annual STEM week in July.  They are planning to deliver an exciting workshop to one of the classes.  We can’t wait.

It was lovely to spend some time with the Watersons team and to see their enthusiasm for Team 38154B’s robot.  Hopefully this is the start for a long and lasting collaboration between us.  

Here our team are showing off their driving skills and robot strategy to their visitors - a really impressive run that will hopefully give them a lot of confidence which they can carry into the World Championships.
