Reception Multi Sport Festival

Some of the reception Children travelled to Gateshead Stadium to take part in a circus themed multi sport event on 16th January 2025. 

 

All the children involved really enjoyed exploring the different sports activities. These included crawling through tunnels, crossing an obstacle course, hoop toss and stuck in the mud. The games focussed on improving pace, balance and agility. They were also lots of fun. 

 

One school at the end of the competition won a special award as they demonstrated great acts of self belief whilst participating in the SSP event. That award was present to the children of Wardley Primary. We are very proud of them!
