Yesterday, 15 of our Year 1 children visited Gateshead Stadium and represented Wardley at a cricket festival. The children had a fun filled afternoon and took part in a number of cricket themed activities to introduce them to the sport. The children worked really well together in teams, showcasing an excellent range of sportsmanship skills - well done Year 1!
