Year 1a English - Little Red

This half term, the children in Year 1a have been working with their model text ‘Little Red’ (by Bethan Woollvin) during English. Before recounting the story of Little Red, the children did lots of work around sentence structure and punctuation. Then, just like real authors, the children planned their writing and practiced saying their sentences lots to help them write them. After writing their recounts, the children worked together to edit their work by correcting any missing or incorrect punctuation and spellings. Finally it was time to publish their writing and make it the best it can be.
