Over the last two weeks, the children in Year 1a have been learning all about playground structures as part of their DT topic. During the topic, the children have looked at existing playground structures and how they move then they have made their own LEGO and paper structures. The children were given a design brief and the final designs needed to be; fun, safe, free standing and an appropriate size for a LEGO mini-figure. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the topic and I have been amazed by their creations.
