Year 4 Library visit

On Wednesday 22nd of November, Year 4 enjoyed a trip to Pelaw Library. The children spent a morning listening to one of the wonderful members of staff read a book to them before then choosing their own books to bring back to school. For many of our children this sparked a sudden desire to read and chase down that all important 90,000 words before Christmas target they have each been set. 

The children also did some activities that helped them explore the library and the books it has.

Pelaw library is a fantastic place to take children during half term if they are looking for books to read!
