Year 5 - Japanese art and culture workshop

Today, Year 5 were lucky enough to take part in a workshop provided by Gateshead Libraries, which looked at Japan and its culture. As part of the visit the children found out about what life is like in Japan, learnt some new language and created their own chigiri-e bookmark. The children thoroughly enjoyed the session and made some fantastic creations.
